We are a compass, not a career

The Pathfinder quiz is designed by counsellors and validated against career clusters used in Indian education. But it's a directional tool — not a diagnosis. Your career is going to be shaped by your choices, effort, circumstances, and plenty of things outside our algorithm. A 3-minute quiz can point you toward good questions to ask. It can't decide your life.

We are not registered career counsellors

Pathfinder is a technology product. The insights we generate come from a weighted scoring model, not from one-on-one psychological assessment. If you're making a major life decision (choosing a stream, dropping a degree, changing fields), please also consult a qualified career counsellor, a teacher you trust, or a mentor who knows you personally.

NEET practice is for practice only

The NEET module on Pathfinder is a practice tool. The questions are written by our team based on publicly available NEET syllabus and NCERT content. They're representative — not identical to — actual NEET exam questions. Your score on our drill does not predict your NEET score. Prepare with official NTA materials, coaching, and full mocks in addition to our drill.

Salary and growth estimates are rough

When we show salary ranges and growth estimates for careers (e.g., "₹12-80 LPA"), these are ballpark figures based on public industry data — Naukri, LinkedIn, Glassdoor, AMBITION BOX, and government reports. Actual salaries depend on location, employer, experience, skill level, and market conditions. Treat them as a rough reference, not a contract.

College and exam information may change

We try to keep information about entrance exams (NEET, JEE, CLAT, CUET, etc.), application timelines, and college shortlists current. But exam patterns and eligibility rules change, often annually. Always verify directly with the official exam body or college before making a decision.

We are not a substitute for mental health support

Career confusion is stressful. If you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or depressed about your future, please talk to someone — a parent, a teacher, a trusted adult.
